Welcome to the group of SUNY campuses who
have joined the SUNY Academic Software Initiative (ASI) allowing you
Mathematica licenses.
We should be receiving Mathematica software
very shortly from the vendor and in turn will ship to the participating
campuses. The cds expected are explained on the attached
"Mathematic cd instructions" document [see FAQS link for document].
Also, please become familiar with the
attached documents:
1.
SUNY ITEC Mathematica Access and Support
Instructions
2.
Mathematica Summary of User Terms
Only the Mathematica campus license manager
will be responsible for requesting and receiving Mathematica software.
Any Mathematica requests or questions from other members of your campus
will be directed back to the campus license manager and/or campus
technical coordinator.
ITEC has under development a SUNY/Mathematica
informational web page at http://www.itec.suny.edu/scacad/Mathematica.
Please start here to locate answers to any Mathematica questions you may
have.
To request Mathematica support from ITEC,
you will need to place your requests (issues) with our @task Helpdesk. Please use the "ITEC Helpdesk - ASI" helpdesk queue and choose Mathematica as the topic.
Information on this can be obtained at http://www.itec.suny.edu/scacad/attask/AttaskInter.htm.
Most of you already
have an @task account. For those who do not, or are not sure, please email scacad@itec.suny.edu with your first name, last name,
and email address and we'd be happy to create an account for you.
You have been subscribed to the Mathematica-l
mailing list for which you should have received a welcome message.
By using the directions explained in that email, you can access the list
through the web to read past Mathematica-l messages.
If you have any questions, please do not
hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
Betty J. Spencer - Academic Support
