Managing the performance of your Campus's computer system is now markedly easier, with PerfCap's Performance Analysis Web Zone aka: PAWZ.

PAWZ meets the challenges that IS managers face by providing a secure, Web-based performance management of your VMS system. It allows us, here at ITEC, and your system managers to view and analyze performance data, whether historical or real-time, via an Internet/intranet connection using a Web browser. With a simple connection and password, you can view high-level or detailed system performance information, including major system components.

PAWZ gathers highly detailed information in an extremely efficient manner, keeping its overhead low. The collectors gather information on CPU, Disk, Memory, Process, Network and others. This will allow you and ITEC to proactively manage performance of your VMS systems, which in turn, will result in more efficient, economical and reliable operations.

ITEC is hosting a onsite PAWZ server which is used to collect system performance data from any SUNY VMS Campus that has signed up for this service.  The campus license managers access the PAWZ Web site, using a web browser to view their VMS system’s performance data and graphs.
