The information in these Release Notes is organized as follows: 1. System requirements 2. New functionality 3. Known issues 1 System Requirements CCAT for Tru64 UNIX has the following system requirements: o Your system must have Alpha architecture. o Compaq Tru64 UNIX Version 4.0D or higher must already be installed and configured. o You need at least 3MB of available disk space. 2 New Functionality o The CCAT Parser has been updated to handle certain types of edited Crash Data files. The analysis process was failing due to embedded characters showing up in the crash data. o Updated OS Platform detect logic has been added to detect the different variations of OS Version displays within a crash data file. o Example test files have been supplied for analysis process verification. A sample crash data file for each OS has been added to the CCAT Examples directory. o A problem with the Service Cockpit being able to launch the CCAT GUI from the Cockpit interface has been resolved. o A problem with the CCAT GUI Apply button has been resolved. The Apply button can now be used to enter crash footprint information manually. 3 Known Issues There are no known issues with CCAT V3.1 for Compaq Tru64 UNIX.
