Known issues 1 System Requirements CCAT for Windows NT (Intel) has the following system requirements: o Your system must have Intel architecture. o The following software must already be installed and configured: - Windows NT Version 4.0 Service Pack 3 or higher - Crash Analysis Data Collector (CADC) - DSNlink (for automatic analysis) o You need at least 4MB of available disk space o You must have Windows NT administrator privileges in order to install or de-install CCAT 2 New Functionality o The CCAT Parser has been updated to handle certain types of edited Crash Data files. The analysis process was failing due to embedded characters showing up in the crash data. o The Windows-NT footprints have been updated to add new fields for stop code analysis, driver timestamp processing and stack trace matching. o A SICL file transfer issue on Windows-NT systems has been resolved. The new code reduces the file size to less than 30 KB for Notification messages shipped to DSNlink for SICL call logging operations. o Example test files have been supplied for analysis process verification. A sample crash data file for each OS has been added to the CCAT Examples directory. o A problem with Service Cockpit being able to launch the CCAT GUI from the Cockpit interface has been resolved. 3 Known Issues There are no known issues with CCAT V3.1 for OpenVMS/Alpha.
